Question New User Requires Advice

basicaly i live in a estate owned by peabody estates uk , and i have requested for permission to install a new sataliet on my flat and i was told over the phone that my application might be rejected due to too many dishes being installed on my estate! very stupid rule.....


i would like to isnatll a tv cabo set up in my house so that i can receive portuguese tv cabo channels, but i was wondering if my application is rejected , could i mount the dish on a stick and just point it outside??

would the signal be strong???

my windows are made of double glazing,


i amd just wondering if it would work......

Hi,
There are a number of threads already with dishes being used inside and pointing out through a window. Do a forum search. The only way you'll know for definite if it will work is to try it, as there are different glass types and some have been known to attenuate/reflect the signal too much.

Also you will need a window that allows a view of Hispasat at 30W.
