If you are using a budget dish on a DiseqC motor and 2" mast, then in extreme conditions, it may move.

My System: 43cm Dish, Sky Plus, FRACARRO PENTA 85, Invacom Twin, Moteck SG2100a H-H DiSEqC Motor, TF5000CI, TM-5200D, Rover Discovery ST-4, Rover SDM-1s, 57E to 58W | I've always wondered if there's a way to adapt the motor arm to the dish bracket with a bolt through method to stop possible slippage.

There is of course the potential for the nylon gears in the DiseqC motor to strip in severe conditions. @ Den123, Has your dish moved in the past?

May be a bolt through arrangement through the motor clamp and main mast. I did look at doing something but wondered if it would weaken the main structure. Also can easily see how the nylon gears may strip in very strong winds. Saying that, ( touch wood ), I have the same dis motor in an area open to the wind and have had no movement at all. Bang, click, stripe ![]()

My System: triax td88 motorised, Vantage x221tsci, tms-1500ci, skystar 2, diablo v2.3, zone 2 minidish - setanta | den123, you have the option to fit a polar mount with actuator motor to the gibertini dish and think this would be better in your situation. also i move my dish to face the wind side on which helps
