My System: Satellite Dish 1.6m Hotbird 13E, DreamBox 7000S with Gemini 4.4.0; Dish 1.2m Amos 4W, Nokia 9600S; Nokia 9800S; Hauppauge Nexus-S PCI Card ![]() He battled for 3 days against the Tux and won! Hurray!! |
A friend of mine told me that his mother in law got an installation for Amos 4W and Hot Bird 13E on ONE dish. I told him that I don't think that this is possible. Forgot to ask him if it was motorized, but let us assume it is fixed. Is this really possible with a fixed dish and how? ![]()

My System: Sky UK family pack. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 5 fixed dishes (4.6E/5E/13E/16E/19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA (with dragon cam), Coship CDVB 2300A, Fortecstar Lifetime Ultra, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S, 2250kb ![]() The last noble sat warrior to fly the olden flag of Analogue | If the down link powers are high enough I dont see why it shouldnt work with a normal offset lnb configuration on the dish. You should be fine in the Middle East - it wouldnt work well for Amos in northern Europe ![]()

If yes, what type of LNB would be used? Also how would the setup looks like?

Ive got 16E / 23.5E / 28E on my 1m Orbital (not enough feeds on the Sky dish YET - the 28E is used for my DB )And 13E / 9E / some tp off 7E on my Hottie dish. 13E / 5W should work if you shove the prime focus round somewhere near 5E. (5W is about the strongest sat in western European skies!)
