My System: Technomate 2200 motor, technomate 5400 ci +USB, 90cm dish... | What a nightmare it turned out to be....i'm very pleased i cracked it, wouldnt have done without everyones input. The set up guides make it sound sooo simple. Really isnt. Todays and yesterdays fiasco was caused by my meter, whilst finding Hotbird and 8 West the signal level on the 753 meter went off the scale, so i reduced the sensitivity to fine tune the sats that i was able to get. That meant when searching for Thor it failed to register the thor signal, that coupled with the elevation of the dish being a little low and it all went haywire again for a while. Meanwhile i look on the ***** website dish setup guide and see a nice big digital meter showing Thor in all its glory and start to wonder what that cost....i actually conceded this afternoon and booked a professional installer who's coming round on Monday, i'll be cancelling that appointment in the morning ...yippee Now....who wants to talk about football, naughty bits, encryption and patches etc... i'll go and digest a few threads first ![]()

My System: Technomate 2200 motor, technomate 5400 ci +USB, 90cm dish... | By the way and i'll post this here so those of you that have been of help get first pick. Free to anyone who's prepared to collect (woking, surrey) a Humax IRCI 5400 receiver (locked up during HOT update 18 months ago, never tried to unlock it) an infinity programmer, a titanium card. Any good to anyone or candidates for the bin ? Last edited by Dogz11; 25-07-2008 at 08:57 AM.
