@ angusc , I hope you have the same print-board .
I have tryed to make a picture but the drawing is farr bether .

scratch away the 5 X-points , connect the 3 A-points together
Make the C connection also to the metal housing .
Connect on B a wire witch one is going to the third F-connector . (F-Barrel (Female Splice) Connector )

My System: DM800 - Nabilosat v0.8 AG / DM500 - Gemini 4.2 / XSAT 430 / Xcruiser 250 / H-H Motek 2100A / 1m Dish / SATS: 146E, 138E, 134E, 122.2E, 108E, 95E, 75E

Thanx Trust1!!

Please can you just clarify exactly what cables and connections go from where to where on your modified set-up. Is it something like this:

Original "To LNB" Connector: Goes to the LNB
Original "To Reciever" Connector: Goes to the Reciever "ANT IN"
New F Connector: Connectes to 15V power supply?????

My System: Zehnder DR600 digital receiver, 90cm Amstrad dish and one MTI Blue Line 0,2db LNB.

Hmm... I didn't really understood that.

What 15V power supply are you using and how does it work? Does it provide the power all the time and if wouldn't that make the motor rotating all the time?

So it actually is the receiver that is too weak? A stronger receiver would work as it should work without the extra power supply?

The power supply is a cheep mains unit (example , see pic below)
approx. 15 volt DC / 500mA or 1000 mA whattever you can find .
Any other type between 13 v and 18 v will do .
At 13 v , dish moves slower at 18 v fast .

In the motor are 2 relais ( to move east and west)
The 15 v is present on the switching contacts of these relais .
Originaly is that 13 or 18 v , depending on what kind of channel your receiver is tuned (Vertical polarisation = 13 volt / horizontal polarisation = 18 v)
When you change to a channel on a another satelite , there go's a diseqc command to the motor , witch is switching on , one of the relais .
The dish wil move to the chosen satelite and the relais switch off , no more power on the motor !!

There are a lot of receivers steering that Moteck without any problem , dont ask me wich one particular , I 've only tryed Maxplus 2100S with succes .

On a "weak powerd receiver" a STAB motor is working bether , it needs less milliAmps .

OK, but you have got the moteck motor working with the Maxplus 2100S receiver with just the power from the receiver then?
