Greek TV in Canada?

Hi guys im new here...i was wondering if someone could help. I live in the UK and I have bought from Greece NOVA satellite plate and the card and everything so I have been able to watch Greek tv here the last years. I am moving to Canada soon and I want to know if I i take everything with me whether I will be able to watch Greek Nova there as well.

My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 5 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/13E/16E /19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S

No chance. The satellites Nova uses broadcast to Europe not the Americas.

Sell it, and hope the local Canadian providers have some Greek channels on them.

Unfortunately you won't be able to receive none of the channels in Canada you're used to over Nova. Even ERT World is encrypted unless you would install a big C-Band dish to get it for free. You might find this here: _http://www.odysseytv.ca/ which also must be subscribed over Bell ExpressVu pay tv package: _http://www.lyngsat.com/packages/expressvu2.html and Mega Cosmos as well. Everything i've heard about these channels is that they are crap, much worse than the original ones you can get in Greece or over Nova.

There are devices called slingbox or HAVA that allow you to do remote zapping/viewing from Canada but expect much worse quality. These solutions require to have somebody in Greece or elsewhere inside Europe receiving the stuff exclusively for you. I cannot give more info since i haven't tried this myself before.
