Newbie to Satellite TV

Hi there!

Having been to College for years am now able to converse and have a good knowledge of French, German, Spanish a smattering of Danish and Dutch!

Have bought myself a König SDFTA11 satellite receiver & 60cm dish from ,Amazon too.

I read that you could use the existing Sky + digibox with the 60cm and could maybe get some foreigh channels to watch??

I tried the dish which was advertised on ,Amazon comes with a stand so you could use it when you go caravaning - however how on earth do you get the degrees spot on - they dish and FTA receiver came with a Electronic Satellite Finder by Psylins!

All of this was sort of connected up and I got NOTHING!!!! Is this going to be alot harder than I first imagined??

Am also thinking about getting the dish put up with a motor so i don't have to move it myself!

ALL ANSWERS WILL BE VERY VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!!!!

As Sl<Y satellite receivers can only view transponders which use 22000 & 27500 symbol rates, viewing of many European channels will be restricted.
