Motor and monoblock

Hi,

I have read many topics regarding this but no confirmation yet.

Has anyone tried to combine a motor fx. DiSEqC motor; Moteck SG 2100 A with a monoblock with one output to a Dreambox?

Thanks

My System: TM6800HD+TD110+StabHH90 motor,TM1000D+Orbital 1m +Moteck motor.45E to 45W. 2 x minidishes.DigitAlB movies. A Bigsat BS-S77CX and a Sky Dodgibox.

Not tried it, but have something very similar.

I have a Stab HH-90 motor with a DiSEqC switch, and it works fine.

Since the monoblock contains a DiSEqC switch, it should work.

OK, I think I will give it a try when I get my courage back.
Currently I’m fighting with just the monoblock, can’t get signal on both heads at same time.
Btw, how do u know which head is A and B?

Thanks,

You won't at the same time.
Select DiSEqC A/1 or B/2 on receiver and place your hand over the heads to determine which is which

I don't think he means literally at the same time maybe?

To set it up, you could stick the left hand side LNB in the holder, which will do 19E, once you have the dish lined up, the right hand side one will do 13E when you switch to it. The right hand side LNB has to be lower, as the elevation for 13E is higher.

(viewed from the front of the dish)

Ok, I was little too fast with the previous one.

What i ment was off course not at the same time but signal on both.
It seems like the the DISEQ does not switch head.
Fx. 5E(A) and 1W(B) it seems there is always signal on A but not on B.
I then change 1W to (A) and 5E to (B) then there is still only signal on A.
Btw, it's a dreambox 500+

It does not necessarily mean that it is not switching. It could be that you are just not getting a signal from the other one.

Go and set it to A, then go out side and cover up each LNB with your hand and find out which side makes the signal disappear.

Time for a little update.

I got the monoblock to work on 1W and 5E.

The issue seems to be that the dreambox satfind is completely hopeless it shows the same all time.

I hooked the monoblock to my good old Triax receiver and it took 5 min to lock both satellites.

Reconnectede dreambox and it was still unable to lock on satellite.

Restarted the dreambox and it worked fine.

The same goes if I have only a single head on the dish the dreambox shows signal no matter where I point it.
