My System: Nothing Yet..Pending |
Well the 80cm dish with motor is up but due to time never had time to set things up which gave me time to read the manual again!I am using a stab motor(Technomate 5400CI+ receiver) and i'm a little confused of how to set it up.The system will support USALS and DISEQC 1.2 so which is better or easier?

My System: Zone1, DSI8215 SkyHD, Thomson DSI4214, TF5000CI, Dreambox DM800 HD PVR - Nab BH0.12, TM-5200D, Gibertini 104cm, SNH-031, 36v Actuator, Vbox-II, 42°E to 30°W, Sling Media, Televes H45 Digital Processing Analyser, Satlook Micro+G2 NIT, Rover SDM 1s | Hi, Using USALS also known as DiSEqC 1.3 will be easier and quicker for sure. USALS (Universal Satellites Automatic Location System) is an enhancement of DiSEqC 1.2 commands whereby the receiver can automatically locate the required satellite position based on your own longitude & Latitude as a reference. You need to set the dish up on a satellite closest to your own longitude, normally 1W in the UK. Have a read round the DiSEqC Motor set up guides below in signature. SM
