My System: Zone1, DSI8215 SkyHD, Thomson DSI4214, TF5000CI, Dreambox DM800 HD PVR - Nab BH0.12, TM-5200D, Gibertini 104cm, SNH-031, 36v Actuator, Vbox-II, 42°E to 30°W, Sling Media, Televes H45 Digital Processing Analyser, Satlook Micro+G2 NIT, Rover SDM 1s

Also consider a straight forward DiSEqC motor system (80cm dish with H-H motor).

More choice, more satellites

My System: TM6800HD, TM1000, TM600 Linux,TM5200, TM2200 motor, Triax TD110 dish + Fortec 85cm. Meter=Satlook Micro+G2 NIT

A Triax TD88, with a Multi-block works quite well, for 13E,19E,23.5E and 28E.

Or for 16E, the TD110.

Hi - I have considered this but have a restricted location for the dish its against a east facing wall - could the motor arc be limited?
Cheers

Hi - If I can't fit the motor - I will go for this option - when looking they have clear dishes of the same size would these work as well?
Cheers

yes, as long as you can see the satellites, the dish arc can be limited to just S East.

I have never used a clear dish, but in theory yes, I believe that an adapter can be purchased to go from a Traix multi-block for example to a clear dish. I have also used on my own system a Triax Multiblock on an Orbital 1m dish, but I don't have it perfected as yet.

Clear disks have another small disadvantage.

Due to their shiny surface, they reflect sunrays, which can melt the LNB/holder.
This can occur on certain days, when the sun is exactly posioned behind the satellite where the dish is pointed at.
