Fortec Omega or QualiTV - set up?

Hi guys, im still aint got my dish sorted (long story of being let down)

Anyway i now have a Fortec Star Omega receiever and a Qualitv receiver, as most of the stuff i plan to watch (ice hockey) seems to be on 4:2:2

Am i best off just putting the Omega to one side, and using the Qualitv alone to run my 90cm motorised system, or should i keep the Omega and use a loopthrough (seems this could open up another can of worms for me tho!)

Main channels i want are the 4:2:2's, Eurosport Germany (19.2e), DSF Germany (19.2e) and Planeta Sport Russia (13e).

The Quli doesn't have diseqc(don't know about the other stb)I would use your other box to drive the dish and an A/B switch to seperate tha signal as tha quali is bad for weak signals.

Colinp. There are useful tips on the USA forums at satelliteguys and gofastmotorsports/rickssatellitehome. Apparently the Qualitv memory is poor. The box will 'freeze' or play up if the memory gets too full with too many channels. It might help to clear channels.

Do a google on 'Qualitv release notes'. Useful info. The latest software SV_3.16 and download tool is available on the Qualitv websight. Best download it onto your computer before they delete it.
