My System: sky tv Technomate 3200d+ 80 Cm dish Digipower motor DisEQC H-H motor SG-2100
39E hellas sat low intensity

Hi

I have successfully set up my Technomate 3200+d box with an 80cm motorised setup, i can receive

1W
5E
13E
19.2E
28.2E

The motor will not go to 39E when i use the "goto position" in the menu, so i when i manually try to turn the motor via the set-top box to 39E the light underneath the motor goes red "low intensity"

Is this a problem because its off the arc or there is an obstruction?. All all sats have a strength and signal at around 80%
28.8 has very good signal quality.

Thanks

Gray

My System: Zone1, DSI8215 SkyHD, Thomson DSI4214, TF5000CI, Dreambox DM800 HD PVR - Nab BH0.12, TM-5200D, Gibertini 104cm, SNH-031, 36v Actuator, Vbox-II, 42°E to 30°W, Sling Media, Televes H45 Digital Processing Analyser, Satlook Micro+G2 NIT, Rover SDM 1s

Regardless of signal being received, the motor should still turn round to 60 degress from zero with USALS.

Try resetting the motor. Go to DiSEqC 1.2 mode > Under motor menu control > Reset system.

I which case using DISEqC 1.2 you'll need to check Limits.

Reset is a reset.

My System: Technomate 3100d 90cm FortecStar dish FortecStar HH120 motor powered by UsalS FSku-VN 0.2db LNB 30w>53e FortecStar mercury II fixed at 19east FREESAT with card. EuroVox ex5000pvr

If the motor was second hand the last owner may have taken the cylinder off and adjusted it so it goes no further than 28.2east but this means the motor should go to 91.8west, not that any sat will work that far west.

Reset motor on the receiver menu first. If still not working then:

> Hard reset on the motor it'self - (small reset hole on the motor body)

> Check physical limits by checking the sliders on the motor - (motor shaft will have to be taken off to see this). Should be preset to around 60 degs.

The motor was bought brand new from a shop. Thinking about contacting technomate for a replacement box as the channel numbers on the display on the box do not show up & the front of the reciever box should light up blue but doesn't.

Regards

I have checked the motor and the screws for limiting the motor is not an issue as they are at the end of the East & West Limits, starting to think its a dodgy box.

Yes

That is how they come as default out the box, yes.
Easiest way to check is to try another receiver on USALS.
