Well picked the dish up this morning i got the dish with azel mount and ground stand also i got a box which had a polar mount that has never been used a old feedhorn another new feedhorn that has never been used a load of lnbs and a few other odd bits.

I will give the dish a clean up as it has loads of moss on it but i will have to do it in between decorating because i have just moved in to this house. The guy also said his friend may have some dishes he does not use and will ask him for me.

I will use the dish on 1w only untill i get the chance to sort a motor system out if i had a dish above the roof i am would get a full arc sweep but if i use a dish at the bottom of the garden i should get from about 57e to 72w but i do not want a dish above the roof so will go for a garden install i have a big tree cherry at the bottom of the garden but gave that a trim back will a chain saw yesterday

My System: andrews dish - jaeger 1224 motor, vantage x221tsci, skystar 2, diablo v2.3, cyfra+

i would put a jaeger 1224 on the dish but as you have a polar mount then why not use this with a 18inch actuator

on 1west i used the tv2 norge transponder to align up my dish as i have the smaller 90cm andrews till i get a 1.2m

Unused polar mount and feedhorn is result, well done! Try 11823H or 12149V, anything on the Nordic/Central Eu beam, most of the UK needs 1.2 or more for reliable reception.

yes i do quite well on 1west here with 90cm andrews dish , signals around 65% on my vantage receiver for a few of the thor 3 tps

a 1.2m dish would pull more signal i'm sure on these here
