My System: Wavefrontier T90 10 Titanium 0.2dB LNB Dreambox 7025 300 Gb Hardrive Gemini 2.4 Image |
Hi all, I know the Dreambox is an entheusiasts 'dream'... but is it possible to have a separate Motorised Dish as well as a Fixed Dish plugged into the Dreambox and have it work with both? I'm sure this is a question has been thought of a lot, but has it really been tried? I live in Copenhagen and have a Dreambox 7025 with Wavefrontier T55 with 5 LNB's and a 10/1 BEST disecq switch - bought from satshop.de in Germany. I also have a fixed dish but have recently bought a Technomate TM-2200 motor. Many thanks! JD

My System: 1.2M, & 55cm Gregorian Dish`s, 1.8m Precision dish Jaeger 1224 H-H motor.Dreambox 800, Vbox-II. SS2 Card. | Yes you can do what you ask. I have a Gibirtini 1.5m on a Jeager 1224 motor via a vbox on one tuner, and a fixed sky mini dish on the other tuner. You could even run two motorised dish`s with the 7025

My System: TM6800HD, TM1000, TM600 Linux,TM5200, TM2200 motor, Triax TD110 dish + Fortec 85cm. Meter=Satlook Micro+G2 NIT | I have used a diseqc 1.0 switch (4x1) through a diseqc 1.2 motor and it works fine, connected to a single tuner. But I have not tried a larger switch. I would be interested in the answer too.

My System: TM6800HD, TM1000, TM600 Linux,TM5200, TM2200 motor, Triax TD110 dish + Fortec 85cm. Meter=Satlook Micro+G2 NIT | Using a Diseqc 1.0 switch in conjuntion with a Diseqc1.2 motor is fairly straight forward. Connect the receiver to the motor, the motor to the switch, and the switch inputs to the LNBs. The receiver settings were then set up so that both Diseqc 1.0 and Diseqc 1.2 were used at the same time. I have played with a TM9100 briefly, which was running a UR Team image on it, and to get my system working with it I believe I had to choose an advanced option for the Diseqc settings.
