My System: WinXP/Firefox 85cm Transparent dish and 3 dual LNB's 13,19,28 One diseqc to Sky Star 2, and a diseqc to TM1500. Plus a loop from the TM1500 to a Pace MSS100 analog sat receiver.
My LNB Strength - update

Following your suggestions
Both diseqc boxes when routed to the TM1500 downstairs give a strength of around 70 and both boxes when outed to the SS2 and DVBDream also give the same strength.
Remaking all the Fconections back to the dual lnb's has made a slight
imrovement in DVBDream. Quality has improve from around 50 to 60 and Level from around 48 to around 58. So thats a help.

BUT, and here's the embarassing bit, when I posted that I'd constantly had the error message Timeout - This PID is empty - Rescan the quality and level both show zero at that time. I'd panicked over loss of picture and not noticed this in the bottom line. It happens in both DVBDream and ProgDVB.

It appears to be an erratic fault, from running normally it drops to zero and I cant find a physical reason for that. No wind, no rain, no overheating etc. There doesnt seem to be any time scale for it being off.
I've done the switch off count 20 and switch on or even go out to the shops and its still there. When it comes back I cant suss out why.

I can't find this problem reported elsewhere, is it something you guys recognise.
