KU/Cband On A ASC 1.2M

Is it possible to have a both a cband and kuband lnb on one dish i've got a standard universal 40mm lnb on it at the moment and recently had a kuband feedhorn come and i was going to get myself a invacom quad but was just wondering is there a lnb out there that does both bands

or can you put two lnbs on one dish if so is a bracket of some sorts required has anyone got a link please?

i rather just fork out for a combined lnb to be honest but not sure one exists

Well

Without any dish information from you it is unlikely you will get a response from members, what C band transmissions are you after in the UK?, there are practically none available above Europe, even then it depends on dish size

My System: 75e-75w C & KU, 36v h-h /36v & diseqc actuators / diseqc -USALS motors / Anlg to HD Channel Masters C120s dishes, stb's inc echo3000, lnbs, meters, custom polar mounts & elevation/incline actuator conversions...

Half way down the page I think...

On just an asc 1.2 for C Band use ... I'd prefer an actuator to alter the elevation with a dedicated C Band LNB on top of the KU band LNBf... I think the scala plate thing on those C Band LNBs are useless on that dish too... just leave it off or fashion a new one for the asc 1.2's .6 f/d ratio.

I know it's a bit messy to add an actuator but you also gain a lot of control for sats on inclined orbits and better focus on different difficult sats within a cluster and that dish's AZ/EL lends itself a bit more than most....

Oh Boy

freaky12 Can I suggest you put your equipment information in your profile where it belongs, putting it in the title is not helpful.

Updated my profile. It's a andrews channel master 1.2 on a 1224 supermount. tracking the arc from 34.5w to 62.0E tried getting 68.5e but its to low on the horizon as i've got trees etc in the way.

I will upload pictures tonight. but i want to get some of the c-band stuff on the various satellites i aint really bothered about what guess i just want to have the facility to do so if needs be.

The 1224 can be modified for elivation/(aka incline) actuator ..
