Guess what material i will use to make a antenna..

Itīs a type of antenna that i discover in the internet +-6 months ago. Itīs a Multifrequency / Multibeam type antenna. Itīs efficiency with 25cm is +-90%.

PS:
-I will not use the box/bag/bottle/etc..only what is inside it.
-Probably itīs made from another one in the photo, but i know only one..

...Guess it

1-Beer
2-Coffee
3-Sugar
4-Eggs
5-Mashed potatoes
6-Salt
7-Rice

I'd have a guess at rice, though, why or how you would bother is beyond me.

The material must be hard and durable.
This leaves us with
1 - Hard Eggs
2 - The egg shell, Calcium. Grind it into powder and then make the dish shape using a mold.

Believe me the antenna work like a charm, a 12cm version can receive a 54dBW satellite with freezes. This is the simplest antenna you will ever know, even a 8 year old child can make one. The antenna is all made from one material, i just use a support to get the material with the correct shape..

And yes, if you want you can drink/eat the antenna

I didint say that the antenna is durable, it can last a long long time..but it all depends how well you can protect it.

As the thread was under the dish setup section, we assumed that you are talking about a dish.
Just confirm that it is NOT A DISH, and we can start all over again.

Tomorrow i will say what antenna is and how can be made.

some hints to find what type of antenna is:

-A multibeam antenna is capable to receive a satellite in a range of +-60š, this one can receive in a range of 360š without loosing 0.1dBi.
-In Dishes you need to aim the dish+LNB at the same time, in this antenna you only need to move the LNB...the antenna is fixed.
-It was invented in the 40īs

Yes, itīs a Spherical antenna

According to Luneberg theory, the antenna need several layerīs with different dielectric constant, higher on the outside, smaller on the inside. My version is made of one layer..but using this method, bigger the antenna ..smaller is the efficiency.

A 15cm version have 130% efficiency
A 25cm version have 82%
A 40cm version have 65%
...

From what i noticed, these type of antenna have the same 3dB extra performance over a dish (like Conical Hornīs)..adding that to the high efficiency..they perform very well!

Tomorrow i will create a post with photos/tutorialīs/explanations...and i will say the material that i used for it.

The material is Sugar, because the dielectric constant is 2.0

See the antenna here
