Trying to set up Lithuanian channels on 1m dish

hi
new to this forum, and would like to greet everyone!!!
need some help on my sat installation.recently bought a 102cm technomate dish with a standard universal lnb, with the intention of getting the sirius satellite,so i can get access to lithuania and some eastern europeans channels.trying to have a go on learning lithuanian, having a wife from there.well basically its really hard to get.im on the right frequency and postion but seems to get hispasat channels instead.installation enginners came around and they couldnt set up the channels and told me problbly will need to get a different lnb, wich im not that is the problem.do i need to get a bigger dish?is it possible my lnb is not strong enough?on Ebay theres a member advertising a eurostar dish 1.2 that aparently is perfect for this satellite.any sugestions???

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

Have moved this to an appropriate section.

Which satellite are you trying to receive, I can only find one free Lithuanian channel and that is on Sirius 4 at 4.8E, this should be easy to receive with the size of dish you have and is nowhere near Hispasat.

My System: 0.8W; 4.8E; 13E (90cm dish), 19.2E; 28.2E; 36E (110cm dish), DM 600 + HDD (120 GB)

Lithuanian channels are included on Viasat package (Sirius 5E)...
These channels are on nordic beam, so maybe there are problems receiving them...
Lithuanian channels:
LTV (national television)
LNK (commercial television, mostly shows and TV-series)
TV1 (commercial - TV shows)
BTV (commercial - mostly lithuanian and russian shows)
Lietuvos Rytas (commercial)
TV3, TV6 (mostly - entertainment - shows, movies, TV-series).
All these channels are scrambled, except for:
LTV World (national television's channel especially for those, who live outside Lithuania). It's FTA - available on Sirius Europe Beam, as rolfw already said...

My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 6 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/10E/13E/16E/ 19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S

The last noble sat warrior to fly the olden flag of Analogue

If the dish is currently pointing at 30W Hispasat its got to be slewed round to the south.have a look where the sun is at midday - the dish needs to be slightly east of that position. (To the left if you were standing behind the dish)

Analoguesat's message to the world
Analogue forever!

Which Spanish channels on which frequencies are you watching?

My System: Dreambox with PLi-Emerald 1.09 image, Matrix revolution CAS, newcamd emu, movable dish 0.85 m, very happy indeed

there are no Spanish channels on Sirius, so If you're getting spanish channels then your dish is mis-aligned and is pointing to either 19,2E Astra 1 or 30W Hispasat.
You should have no trouble getting Sirius in London, however, I'm not sure about the northern beam where the Lithuanian channels reside. First get your dish correctly aligned, check for the Ukranian channels TET, Novy, Glas, ..... which are on 11766 H 3/4 27500.
however, looking at the nordic beam footprint, a 1m dish might not be enough to receive those channels : _http://www.lyngsat-maps.com/maps/sirius4_nordicb.html
