My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

Not something I'd recommend, have seen a STAB motor with a Gilbertini 1.25m and thought that was over the top for the motor.

Why can you not use a 36v motor?

Hi, The Gibertini op150 is too big for a DiSEqC motor. Any reason why you can't use a linear actuator & polar mount?

Is this a house or an apartment?

If it is a house, you could perhaps put the V-Box in the loft or in an external cabinet?

Cable a satellite coaxial from receiver to Vbox in loft. Then cable another coaxial from Vbox to LNb along with a 4 core for 36v pulse and sensor to motor.

Edit: Also require a 240v source at loft location.

Try searching for a distributor that sells the DG340 motor. It is somewhat more robust than most and I have had no problems using them on a 1.2 prime focus in the past.

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness"
