Hellas sat question? Again, sorry folks!

Hi,
I've managed to pick up Hellas Sat 2 at 39 degrees east. With the help of a satellite meter borrowed from the man in my local hardware store.
I'm getting a signal strength of about 80, but I don't seem to be able to pick up any stations on my receiver. Which is a Technomate 5500 DACI, coupled to a 1.0 metre dish. I live in south Essex, and seem to have a pretty much unobstructed vies to the south.
Any advice would be greatly received.

Regards

Dave

My System: IDD CI24 ECONO MM Penta 1.20 Galaxy II 1.2Mtr Polar MTG yes it has been on the arc for 21 years and is still driven by a modified wiper motor from a Ford Anglia. It's like me sometimes groans but always performs

Well

Signal strength is not the issue it is signal quality that is the key, you can have 100% strength but without quality you will not receive anything

The S2 Beam you will need 3.5mtr plus to receive a picture

The F2 beam there appears to be only 1 TP 10956 V 4123-7/8

But the F1 beam should should be a piece of cake and bring you some channels see here
