Are 22khz switches and universal LNBs compatible? If not what does one do when setting up more than 8 LNBs.

My System: Covering 30W-105.5E range, two motors, C and Ku band. Various receivers/cards/cams/etc. | I have two universal LNBs connected via 22khz switch to 1 input of diseqc - works fine.

My System: 1.2 m Eurostar dish KU band W3A, 3.1 M mesh C band on the arc from Atlantic bird3 to Measat 3, 1.5 m offset on PAS 10 KU, 70cm Offset on Eutelsat W2, 2.4m prime (Dual LNB) on PAS 7/10 @ 68 Deg E and Thaicom @ 78 Deg E STARTRACK NC707 Plus, Skyst | I have six LNB and I rather used a 0/12v switch. I was taught that Universal LNBs used 22KHz tone for band switching( Low/High) so it cannot be used with universals.

My System: ? | You use DiSEqC switches 1.0 with four inputs. These switches are connected to the LNBs. The outputs of these switches are connected to another DiSEqC switch (not 1.0, i think 1.1 or 1.2). The output of the final switch should be led to the receiver. The receiver should support DiSEqC. You can connect up to 64 LNBs to a single receiver.
