Missing Satellites

Hello folks

I have a small problem

Got transponder locks on the following sats. 1w, 9e, 13e, 19.2e, 23.5e, 26e, 33e, but nothing on the missing ones in between ie 5e, 7e, 10e, 16e, 21.5e, 28.2e, 31.5e.

Anyone have a clue what I'm doing wrong.

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

May be an alignment problem, are you using USALS? 5E should be easy, but you need to make sure that you choose a transponder which can be received in your location, 16E is often difficult, as a slight misalignment will see interference from either Hotbird or Astra 19.2.

Very strange that you are getting 26E but not 28.2E, as 26E needs very precise alignment compared to 28E.

I suspect that you just have not sent the motor to the right place for some reason, maybe you didn't use valid transponders when storing the positions.

Must be an alignment problem. The pole it's mounted on is only like 18 gauge and I don't think it's up to the job, the bloody thing was getting squashed when I was tightening the clamps.

I've got the company materials man on the case for a a scaffolding tube
