I cant say if original or not but when i was looking I found a few places on the net advertising polar mounts and everyone i tried to place an order with gave same reply"sorry no stock item is discontinued".- dunno why they dont update sites

My motor is quiet as mouse lol, right outside my patio window!

I did fill post with sand to help deaden noise though

My System: Triax 1.1m and Orbital 80cm Motorised Dishes. Various fixed Dishes. Eclectic selection of Digital and Analogue Receivers. Complex switching and distribution that SWMBO cannot fathom. Nor me.

Good job you put the sand there, and not in the Motor ..................

my jaeger 1224 is quiet and my pole is empty i didn't bother to seal it up as its just a short piece between the t&k brackets

did you try sateuropa as i called them ages back and they said they had some but i bought 1224 instead

surprised satellite superstore hasn't had them copied as they sell the dishes.

I think it is more a matter of opinion. I think my 1224 is quiet, but, even though it is 25 metres from the house I can still hear it when I change channel.

I've got a QARL 3624+ here (not rigged up to anything at the minute). I don't know what your actuator is but these are very course, only 36 pulses per inch, giving 864 pulses over the full stroke, and most of those pulses are bunched up in one place on the arc where the actuator is at 90º.

Shipping to Spain looks like it could be a problem. Look at this:

By the way, I ordered one of these a few months ago from Demon Multimedia, who had it shown as available on their website. Anyway to cut a long story short they charged me for an item they didn't have and it took me a month to get a refund.

Thumbs down

I tried sateuropa a few days ago, no cm 1.20 polar mounts or J 1224 motors in stock or available ! may have stock in a month or two, likewise a replacement for the 1224 motor which is not being made any more.

The motorised market as a whole is taking a beating at the moment and this has led to a vacuum on decent equipment for larger installs.

I do know there are 1224 motors at DRS in Leatherhead. Polarmounts for the Andrew/CM antennas are of course like the proverbial rocking horse.

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness"

My System: Gibertini 1M XP Premium - Inverto Black Ultra .2db LNB - Technomate 2200 motor - Vantage 7100 HD. 57E - 22W - 60cm solid oval dish fixed on 28.2 - Humax Freesat HD - Sony Bravia LCD - Sony BluRay and Sony Home Cinema

Pipino,

Used transplanet to purchase an inverto black ultra (which works great!!) arrived okay but took two weeks to come. Not very good at sending emails either.

You could look at _www.2galli.fr, I bought my TD 88 from them and their service was really good.
