How do I know that Dish Antenna is connected with the Satellite Receiver?

Information exchange on LNBs, Single satellite, motorised and multi-satellite systems. DiSEqC switches, positioners, motors, actuators, dish-alignment etc.

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

Not really sure what you are asking.

Can you not check both ends of the cable to make sure that the connections are well made?

when you have no spectrum analyeizer,use dvb 2000,go to the tuner menu,when the number counter is quickly running,in the left corner,then the cable,and connection is okay,when you see FF,then something is fault,with the cable,or the lnb!
