I have 3 satellites dishes picking up diffrent satellites. I currently have a 1.2 meter dish on the shed roof aimed at 10E. Its receiving all the free channels and all the available feeds on 10E along with all available free channels off 9E. I know they are close together as satellites but i was not expecting one dish with one lnb to pick up both satellites for me, both coming in at around 80% at present. I also have a sky minidish aimed at 13E AND A 90cm dish aimed at 19.2E. My question is this if i leave the 1.2 meter dish where it is and fit a bracket which holds 3 lnbs would i be able to pick up 10e, 9e as i am now and also aim another lnb at 19.2e and another at 16e and if this is fine would my 90cm dish which has a bracket for 3 lnbs on it pick up 12.5w, 0.8w and one other satellite up for me. I know motorisiung is the best way but i have all the equipment needed to use a 3 lnb bracket and im just wondering if 90cm dish would be big enough for 12.5 and 0.8w. Maybe i could pick 8w, 5w or 4.8e as the third satellite on the setup. Or would i be better off using the 1.2meter for the west satellites and try and use the 90cm for 10e, 9e, 19.2e and 16e Sorry if it sounds confusing but any advice would be appreciated. Colin | ||

FTA analogue & digital satellite from 6 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/10E/13E/16E/ 19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S ![]() The last noble sat warrior to fly the olden flag of Analogue | A normal hobby dish has an acceptance angle of about 3 degrees for its main axis lnb so theres no reason why it shouldnt get 9/10E. And it helps that EB9A is an extremely high power sat - shes the old Hottie 7A. You would need a very big dish indeed to discriminate between satellites one degree apart. You will get some of the sats you require - I get 16E / 23E / 28E no problem on my 1m dish using 3 lnb's. Best thing you can do is try it - you have nothing to lose apart from a couple of hours of your time. | ||
