Hi friends ..
Just curious about this bird..
currently 2 active transponders ..according to lyngsat
Does anyone know these are receivable in the uk ?
I've no idea which of the 4 beams are in use ...and I belive the orbit may be inclined ...but by how much.
I'm building a full channel list for my IPbox9000HD ...and want to know if its worth adding this sat to the internal database list of the stb ?

Half a degree or so - no more as far as I know.

Official coverage maps:

Eutelsat W48 48E

Llew had a look for the two active tp's a couple of days ago but couldnt see anything.

Thanks for the quick reply m8 ..
I suppose they might have tightened up the beam parameters ...assuming thats possible..
Certainly not a squeak here on a quick scan with the Humax.
I guess its just wait n' see if anything else appears on the sat.

I think the TP's active on 48E are on one of the beams not receivable in the UK. I've checked several times with a spectrum analyser and don't see anything.

To be honest Id be surprised if anything does appear thats visible in the UK - western Europe is not listed on the official description

Hello everybody!

My personal opinion is that the coverage ok this bird is on map marked with red "1" / I'm very curios about da reception of red "2"

Tested now at 21:00 and I noticed a signal drop , the image is not stable
