I have a signal tuner thingy but it's useless without knowing WHERE i'm

My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 6 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/10E/13E/16E/ 19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S

The last noble sat warrior to fly the olden flag of Analogue

You need to align the dish to the Astra 2 cluster at 28E

BTW - you have bought a Freesat or Free to Air receiver - Freeview is the terrestrial system carried through the transmitter network

Hi Johnni..
You need to be pointing at Astra 28.2 deg East
You can get a good idea of the direction from your location by entering your location details and the satellite you require at
_www.dishpointer.com

It will also provide elevation details for your location ..

Welcome to the forum,

Changed title of this thread to one more appropriate.

For 'freesat' you require the 28e slot. This will be approx 144° from your location. More info available at _http://www.dishpointer.com/

Use a compass for a rough bearing, connect up the meter, align the dish and once you have a signal scan the receiver to see.

Edit: too slow again.
