My System: mutech8800 receiver v-box ii positioner
Unhappy

i find in the manual of the positioner this statment ....1. Drive the Actuator High/Low via the < and > buttons to the required position. Keep
pressing the Power button for 5 seconds, the Display will show “C_ _”.
2. Press the < MANUAL> buttons to scroll the position numbers on the display (1-99)
and to choose the sat. positions you want to store. (Only 96, 97, 98 and 99 will be
effective for DiSEqC1.0 receivers)
3. Press the “POWER” button within 3 seconds for confirmation; the LED will show
the number you chose...................the question here how could i Drive the Actuator to the required position, otherwise how to determine the position of the sat ..........................plz any one reply

You set your receiver to DiSEqC 1.2 mode, select a satellite and drive the dish using the East/West button in the DiSEqC menu, monitoring the signal strength and quality readings. When you get good readings, scan a single transponder to check that it is the correct satellite, then save and do a full scan.

My System: Zone1, DSI8215 SkyHD, Thomson DSI4214, TF5000CI, Dreambox DM800 HD PVR - Nab BH0.12, TM-5200D, Gibertini 104cm, SNH-031, 36v Actuator, Vbox-II, 42°E to 30°W, Sling Media, Televes H45 Digital Processing Analyser, Satlook Micro+G2 NIT, Rover SDM 1s

You need DiSEqC 1.2 on the receiver for positioning. You can however drive the motor and store positions using the Vbox directly but a little more cumbersome to set up and operate.
