My System: Zone1, DSI8215 SkyHD, Thomson DSI4214, TF5000CI, Dreambox DM800 HD PVR - Nab BH0.12, TM-5200D, Gibertini 104cm, SNH-031, 36v Actuator, Vbox-II, 42°E to 30°W, Sling Media, Televes H45 Digital Processing Analyser, Satlook Micro+G2 NIT, Rover SDM 1s | Hi Angel, TVEi is also available from Astra1 at 19e. It's also possible to receive both 19e and 13e on the same standalone dish for even more choice of programming.

My System: Communal dish | Thanks. but still have a problem. we cannot have a dish. My understanding is that we already have a communcal dish in the building so I need to figure out how to be able to switch from one dish (Astra) to the Hotbird.

Edit: Just to clarify, are you saying you already have a sky/hotbird communal dish and wanting to know how to receive hotbird or are you wanting to install your own dish?

My System: Communal dish | The building has two communal dishes, one for sky and one for hotbird. And only one socket in the wall. At the moment I only have sky box. I m trying to figure out how do I connect to the hotbird dish to get those channels. Thanks

If so, selection of satellites is achieved using DiSEqC 1.0 switching. If you have a digibox these don't support DiSEqC so options are to use a receiver with a loop out and connect the digibox to that. When the standalone receiver is on standby, the digibox will work for sky. The other option is to use the one receiver and set up the DISEqC configuration for both satellites
