My System: Hotbird XP |
One of the Hotbird TV channels (13oE) is being shifted to Eurobird 9oE. I have been getting the Hotbird with single LNB and single Triax 60x66cm Dish. Can someone guide me since there is only 4o apart between the two satellites, would it be necessary for me to use a larger dish or can I still get both the satellites by just moving the dish slightly by 2oE? -Anicha

Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser. | Why not buy a 4 degree monobloc LNB, _http://www.sateuropa.co.uk/product_overview.asp?id=1940&catid=12&subcat=50 Should be OK on your 60cm dish, if not, just take a step up to an 80cm.

My System: Triax 1.1m and Orbital 80cm Motorised Dishes. Various fixed Dishes. Eclectic selection of Digital and Analogue Receivers. Complex switching and distribution that SWMBO cannot fathom. Nor me. | I agree entirely with rolfw. Obviously, more and more people are being temporarily inconvenienced as the 9E position becomes mainstream and this is one of the reasons why 4 degree Monoblocks are now readily available (The other key use is for Astra 1 viewers needing to get access to 23.5E, which is also growing in stature).
