offset bracket - what is it?

HI all!

I notices the "offset bracket" in a few threads. Could anybody explain my how to use them or what do they look like.

I would like to see astra1 astra 2 and hotbird on one dish (80cm). I have a motor already - is there a better solution, cos i cant find astra 2 and i have to manualy alter elevation of my dish when i switch from hotbird to astra 1.

It's a bracket to hold two or more LNB's. To receive Astra 28.2 and Hotbird requires accurate positioning of both LNB's because of the wide angle.
You'll need at least an 80cm dish, preferably larger. If you're going motorised, you don't of course need a bracket.

A typical holder is shown here:-

My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

Hi Simon, if you have to manually alter the elevation at all, then your dish arc is incorrect and needs some fine tuning.
