SABC channels in Riyadh Saudi Arabia

HI,
A friend of mine is trying to receive SABC channels(12227 V) in riyadh saudi arabia, with a 2.2 meter dish and a KU band universal LNBF, but so far unable to get any thing, these channels are on africa/europe beam on panamsat 7,10 on 68.5 east, we are at the edge of the beam coverage.
We dont have any local experts available to help me in this, but some one did mentioned me that I might need a KU WIDE LNB, can any 1 confirm this?

A universal should be fine for that frequency, providing that the receiver is setup for it.
