sirius and position

Will I get sirius on a 90cm dish in NE england?
Also
How can I find out my latitude and longitude?

You certaily can't do it in West Cornwall; but at the opposite end of the diagonal, even if you can, my guess is that the signal would be weak.

The signals are weak even at north eastern locations, idearly for sustained quality reception you should invest in a 1.5 mtr.

There are many reports from individuals that have recieved with a smaller dish but when the rain and poor weather comes then it becomes much more difficult.



Some transponders the Europe beam for example can be recieved on a 90 cm However the Nordic beams are around 38-42 db for most parts of North east, and require much larger for good reception.
