I have just justed off my old Irte Omnisat for testing before DVB-S card purchase. If anyone is using one of these can you tell me if the positioner needs to have an external power supply. There is a 24v input on the back of the positioner but I don't remember ever using this input. Thanks for your time. Barry | ||

Blog Entries: 3 My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum. | The current version certainly doesn't appear to require a separate power supply, the documentation Here only cautions that a 400ma power supply is required and this would be my main point of concern when using a PC card.
