Reset a Superjack DG-120 Motor

Hello,
I´ve got a problem with my Superjack DG120, DiSEqC 1.2 Motor. It stack on one position and manual buttons stoped function also. When I open it and connect to DC current it runs on one side only, continuesly. Manual buttons are dead.
Is it any software problem, is it possible to reset whole thing ?
Is there anyone who had similar problem or just forget it and bay a new one.

Regards,
mkeric

hi,
not to my knowledge, you can not reset in the way you mean, and the very fact that the buttons are not working suggests that there is a fault with the motor, BUT, this verdict is based on the assuption that all the connections are good to the mount, it only needs a fault in the up lead to also give these syptoms.
but as you have said you have supplied voltage directly, arghhhh, thats making my head hurt, so will not comment on that, just check all the connections, the other suggestion would be to make up a short lnb lead, and take the stb to the mount, and try it that way.
when you put the mount back together, make sure the pcb, goes back correctly, mine was not in correctly when i bought it and was shorting out on the case in the back, and giving spurious signals to the motor
hope this helps

Hi mkeric...

I had the same problem a while back and brought the motor into work where I have some good electronics guys working for me..they diagnosed the problem to a dead controller card. I e-mailed Jaeger who make the superjack and got in contact with a lady nemed Charlotte who was extremely helpful and mailed a spare card to me within a week. If you feel the motor is dead contact her with your problem and she might be abel to help...
Cheers
