Dori,
You got some nice equipment going on there, you system seems superb, any more details would be nice. Thanks

Does the fact that its Titanium make a difference?

A strong, low-density, highly corrosion-resistant, lustrous white metallic element that occurs widely in igneous rocks and is used to alloy aircraft metals for low weight, strength, and high-temperature stability. Atomic number 22; atomic weight 47.87 melting point 1,660°C; boiling point 3,287°C; specific gravity 4.54; valence 2, 3, 4. See table at element

Does anybody know of a reliable, effective shipper, other than DHL, Fedex or UPS?
That handles Ocean/Air freight from Europe to Japan?
Or if you have any ideas that would help me out, please let me know. Thanks

Thanks for the link Likvid. I have a birddog in Germany and Spain right now.

This may be of interest to you/everybody, I was talking to a guy out here and he gave me the link to a local Japanese company Maspro, seems to have some decent gains....provided they are true. It looks like it even has the unmolested dish surface you were talking about. The "retail" prices are outrageous however, I could import a Kathrein cas 120 with express delivery for cheaper.

You may need to update your adobe with Japanese Language.

Maspro is nice, it was 20 years since i bought a Maspro product.

They are not available in Europe anymore i think.

You better call Aerial Oy for price, they can be on vacation so it's better to call and check availability.

Did you see the Kathrein CAS120 on Ebay? they are throwing in the AZ/EL mount for free.

If its the one from Kovac.de...then I did contact them. Here is the story...

He said that he was willing to ship provided I supply shipping, so I contact DHL Japan to get a quote, but could'nt get one because I dont have a registered Japanese Company, So in order to pay for shipping at my local DHL place I need a account number or their account number. I contacted him yesterday telling him the information, but he wasent willing to go that far. He just wanted to have the DHL guy come and pick up the box and call it a day, since it was a quote "special preis" unquote.

I wasent looking forward to the freight charges. On monday I had a another Nokia D-box and Amon shipped from Germany....40Euro!!! But pretty much impossible to get the box out here, Closest place would be Australia and they want ~600Aud last time I checked. That Dish express freight im guessing had to be close to 400~450Euro!!!

I'll call up Aerial Oy tomorrow night. I'll post prices if I can get that far.

Wow, I did'nt think it would be that much just from Germany. Im pretty impressed with Maspro dishes, the gains are very very good ( who knows if their true or not) Plus their local....That said is there some sort of Universal measuring standard that keeps dish makers honest about gains and such?

Likvid: Im interested in that information. Thanks

Aerial Oy...I called them tonight prices as follows:
AS12-144 Euro
AS18-390 Euro
AS24-776 Euro

They are really easy to talk to, a live person picks up the phone, not some silly recording. Customer Service seems like it should be good.
