Hi, I need a 3 inch pole to mount a motorised dish on, approx 1.2 metre dish, standing on the ground. I noticed that satellite superstore sell something for around 135 quid, which is always one option. Can I obtain/make a stand for less than that? Are there any cheaper ones, or is that what I can expect to pay? thanks, -biff.

My System: None | Look at www.cpc.co.uk Their catalogue no SE00386 Ground stand for dishes 1.0 to 1.3m £27.72 (ex vat) If your order is over £35 (excl vat) delivery is free. Usually takes 2 days. I've been dealing with CPC for about 4 years and absolutely no problem at all.
