My System: Skystar 2 PCI card; Dreambox 7020S 2x Eagle Linux Boxes Moteck motorised setup with 88cm dish. Multi LNB bracket |
I tried to get a compass reading (not used to using them!) for the gable wall - which was to the right of the South marker reading 200/35. I'm only used to 0-40+ East/West for sat. purposes. How do i equate my readin in these terms?? I want to put the dish at the apex of the gable wall. Theres a ledge/soffit sticking out (approx. 1ft.) from the roof above the wall. Therefore, I need to find a particular type of bracket to suit this scenario. The bracket needs to carry a motor as well as the dish on an exposed site so I need the strongest possible bracket (ie. not one that will 'flex' like the last one I had in my old gaff). Any suggestions? | ||

Blog Entries: 3 My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum. | A set of 18" T&K brackets, possibly one and a half pairs will do the trick when used with a steel mast.
