Enhance my setup please

Hello,

I’ve been reading up over last few days here on the satellites.co.uk forum and have gleaned some fantastic info, without this I would not have been able to setup my new system to its current state.

I digress, down to business

I have: -

Humax HCDi-2000 --> HDTV
Manhattan Diseqc Motor 1.2 (H140 if I recall)
88cm dish
Dragon Twin CAM with Predator 3.21
Valid sky digital account (paid)


Now onto the interesting stuff....

I have managed to setup Hotbird on 13E and scanned and searched for 1000+ listings fine, I have also set the 28.2E Astra for SKY, this is all done via the Diseqc and functions fine.

I don’t think I can go lower than 13E but its possible, I think I could even reach Turksat 42E... but I need to get more info and read some more I think.

The main purpose for this was to bring the HD into the house as a feed as opposed to me watching HD Transport Streams from Hard disk. Most of the stuff I would like is on Premiere Sport (WC2006 I believe) and of course ALL the HD channels I can get +++

I am really interested in what I can do with my setup above and would appreciate and advice / guidance on such matters. Anything that cannot be posted in the thread would of course be happily accepted via a 'pm', I think you know what I would like to be reading.

I am technical so details are good.

I’ve checked out some of the channels on other websites and I’ve been sucked in to this whole Sat world thing.

I was so happy to stick the Pred software on my CAM and see Sky appear and with the motor setup I suppose I can go all the way??? Best SATS/ Channels / F1 / WorldCup2006....

I sit here patiently awaiting responses.

you can get premiere on the latest predator for dragon cam but you might lose the function to use your sky card in it

Thanks for that, I should check this out as I would like to keep the SKY sub going.

As a side note to all this my DuoLabs Dynamite USB device has arrived This sould help some more.

Ive now also found RDI* and sat******.ws are these trustworthy places ?
