My System: Hotbird+Astra on 100cm Hispasat on 85cm Kaon 570 + Skystar2 PCI
Motorized 1,25m antenna

Hi everyone!
I found this site/forum some days ago and I gotta say congratulations cause everyone is doing a great job.

The reason why i'm writing this message is because i'd like to setup a motorized 1,25m antenna.
From what I've been reading I think a 36v motor + V-Box should be the best solution available. And although I've searched the forum, I still have some stuff that I'd like to know your opinions.

First of all, the antenna will be installed on the roof... the problem is that the chimney is already occupied by my 2 fixes antennas, so no space left there I've seen some of those tile replacements, but is that really safe? I mean, the antenna is kind of heavy, plus I don't know if that stuff is really impermeable ... So i still don't know what to do about that.

Second, a friend told me that a "regular" motor could not be connected to a DiseQ switch (i've got two fixed antenas pointed to Hispasat and HotBird+Astra connected to a DiseQ 4/1 Switch)... But if I understood correctly, with a 36vmotor + a box there should not be a problem... it's just a matter of selecting on the receiver what satellite is on LNB4 everytime I use the v-box to turn the antenna, right?
I've seen so much guides to how to setup a motorized system... although i haven't seen one for 36v motors, it would be of great welp...

Third, when installing it all... I just have to point my dish to one satellite and then the V-Box will praticly do the rest, right? I mean, I don't have to point my dish to every satellites and memorized them all on the V-Box, I hope...

Another question is... the LNB is directly connected to the receiver and the motor to the V-Box, right? So, what kind of cable is used to connect the motor to the V-box?

I know these are a lot of questions... If some of them are already answered here, I'm sorry, I've searched the forum but I didn't find any answers to this.

Thanks so much for your time.
Kind regards.
