My System: GBSAT 2CI, 80cm Comag eliptical dish, Moteck SG2100A MOTOR
Smile Amos

Hi Guys,
I have a motorized eliptical 80cm dish and have just tried Amos.
Can get a lock on using USALS and transponder frequency 10743H 3750 2/3.
But even though signal strength and quality are ok, it doesnt scan any in.
A mate connected his Technomate to my dish on Amos and picked up KRT, which put the idea in my mind to go for it.
I have no Amos preloaded channels.
Am i wasting my time with this size dish, would a 1m do this?
Is there a better transponder frequency to get a lock and load?
Thanks in anticipation

My System: Technomate TMS-1500 CI+ "patched" receiver, 90cm p/f 36v motorised dish, Inverto C120 0.3db LNB, Moteck V-Box 2, Packard Bell 6052 XP Home computer, Toshiba A60 laptop, and lots of Russian Vodka !

Have just tried Amos with my 90cm dish and the only channel I could pick up was KRT with a 62% signal quality.
I seem to remember that to get more channels from Amos that a 1.2cm dish is required, please correct someone if I'm wrong.

PS. I do have problem with this sat in summertime because of leaves on the tree, which is in the way.
