Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum. | You should get a big improvement with a dedicated feedhorn and C120 LNB, either the invacom or Inverto should improve things.

My System: 1.2M & 55cm Gregorian Dish`s, 1.5m Gibertini on a Jaeger 1224 H-H motor. Dreambox 7025 200gb HD, Vbox-II. SS2 Card. | I know a few on here who have the inverto lnb and c/master feed, and highly recommend them together. I have just bought 2 inverto C120`s, one for my 1.2M Fibo Gregorian and one for my c/master 1.8m with matching feed. I will report my findings when I have installed them. I currently have a Invacom on my fibo, lets see if there is an improvment with the inverto! Last edited by CROSSBONES; 25-09-2006 at 11:18 PM

My System: Dreambox 7020, CM 1.2 with invacom quad c120 & channelmaster feedhorn. | I was using an invacom 0.3 with the CM feedhorn but have changed to the inverto white tech c120. And find it to be a little better. Also picked up another CM feedhorn for next to nothing today if anybody is interested??

My System: 3.0m Motorised Channel Master 4 fixed dish SKY_HD DM7020s Vsat Kathrein UFS-910 HD | If the signal improvement is worth anything to you & you dont mind paying a bit more,i suggest you use a C120 0.3dB invacom BUT a Quad one NOT single I have a 120CM dish with a CM feed and tried about almost every LNB on the market, the best result by far is with a C120 Quad invacom.

| I have never seen Invacoms perform any good and i have tried them both on a Andrew Type 120 dish i installed for a client down in Nice, France and my own dishes i had. As Thor footprint is on the edge down there i tried both Inverto, Invacom and a MTI AP8-TW and Inverto white tech flange worked best with Andrew feed. | ||

Hey guys, just a quick question since we're talking about feedhorns. Are ChannelMaster feedhorns same for both 1.2 and 1.8 metre dishes or are they different, sorry to be so thick. cheers, celspid

| I am here I have been lucky enuf to try loads of diffrent type's of lnb's on andew / channel master dishes from 60 cm up to 4.9m over the last 10 year's and one thing i have learned is don't listen to what LNB companys put on there lnb's i have seen high qulity 0.9db lnb's wipe the floor with so called 0.2db lnb's, As for useing a feedhorn you should always use a feedhorn matched to the spec of the dish this matters more as the bigger the dish get's E.G a 2.4m andrew's will act as a 2.0m dish with out the correct feedhorn, Last summer i had a load of lnbs 40mm lnb-f's and c120's what i found is that without the feedhorn and c120 you loose about 1.5DB of the gain of the dish with out it, It is up to you if you want to use the feedhorn with a c120 lnb you just need to look at what you will be useing this dish for if its just going to be on astra or eutelsat 13'e or hispasat etc Just put a 40mm LNB-F on it but if you want to pick up weak satellites and get the most out of the dish and have the cash to spare get a c-120 lnb, Best make lnbs are inverto, invacom, mti, cal amp, norsat, s microwave, cambridge, sharp, etc I use a inverto c120 myself it works well better than those over priced invacoms i dont know why people bang on about them, The best 40mm lnb-f i have used is the sharp one here you go check these item numbers on Ebay inverto / 170031665078 Sharp 0.3 / 220007891326 Also good sharp 0.6 / 220007892515 Last edited by Rd100; 26-09-2006 at 01:09 AM | ||

I'd recommend it, but takes a little getting used to all its little quirks. cheers, celspid
