My System: pentium 4 3.06ghz with ht, 1 gb ram, ss2, 1.15m motor dish, strong srtv50
hellas 2 lnb settings

Trying to find hellas2 39E on my motorized dish, however much as I move it between 40E and 36E I just can't get any signal. I've used the default progdvb lnb settings:

Ku band
LOF1: 9750
Switch: 11700
LOF2:10600

does this have anything to do with these settings? I don't know why I"m not geting it if not, after all I'm in the capital of ukraine and hellas2 is only with greek and ukrainian content.

My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

Make sure that you are looking for a strong transponder 12524 V 30000-5/6 is a good one.

Sorry scrub the above, just looked at where you are and nothing is very strong for your location. Have a look at http://www.lyngsat.com/hellas2.html and click on the satellite beams, you will see where the coverage is. Always try and seek the higher symbol rate transponders when searching.

Yess! thanks! found it using your transponder info. so, the higher the value, like in lamens terms for instance 12683 V is better than 10955 V simply because the value is higher? Again thanks, great site!
