preventing diseqc motor brackets moving on pole

My System: 90cm channel master, jaeger 1224 ,vantage x221tsci, skystar 2, diablo v2.3, setanta on 60cm minidish
preventing diseqc motor brackets moving on pole

i have a moteck motor and it there anything i can do to stop the motor moving about the pole in windy weather ?

would some sort of clamps above and below stop it ?

also the bolts are starting to rust, i've sprayed them with wd40 is there any place to buy stainless steel ones ?

I know it's a bl**dy nusiance when it moves, but if the wind is strong enough to move it, it may well be strong enough to break gears etc. it if it cant move

I use stainless nuts and bolts quite a bit, I dont know about 'U' bolts but you can get st.st. screwed rod quite easily. Get mine of Ebay

Glue it to the pole LOL.

wd40 dont stop rust best to get some zinc nuts and bolts from a diy store

i dont think u bolts would fit if i got some from b&q because of the shape of them

just need to make sure it cant move about as there only so many times as the bolts are so tight now

i should really go 36v with it being exposed but i'm not sure i can setup a polar mount/actuator

looking to get some stainless steel ones

Nuts & bolts are M8 13mm A/F spanner

You could put some motorcycle chain lube on them, goes on like WD40 to get into all the gaps but changes to a sticky grease after a couple of mins.

will these be ok 170070295140 as the current ones are rubbish

grease that reminds me never bothered to do that on the bolts

Those would be OK, dont need nylock but would do the job OK.

Unless you need that many nuts this may suit 170071654057
