My System: Technomate 1500 ci 90cm Gibertini Inverto Silver Tech 0.3lnb Moteck 2100A motor
Diseq to 36V

I am surprised that someone hasnt designed a convertor that sends a diseq signal to a 36v motor (with the correct power cables of course).
This would be the obvious answer for bigger dishes without a vbox.

It is. but its indoors. If I had one more box it would tip the marital hapiness balance.

Sooo, you want a box that goes between a DiSEqC receiver and a 36v actuator? Well, the VBOXII does that, just wire it up, plug it in, hide it from the missus, and she'll never know...

I think there's 2 VBOXs, one is just a positioner with a remote control, whereas the second is the converter for DiSEqC to 36v...

One thing about a V-Box is that it doesn't have to be close to the receiver. Depending where the dish is of course.

I have run one up in the loft.

The idea was just as a back up if the diseq motor got tired with the new dish i've got. It should be OK. If not it looks like I could be into about another £150+ with the vbox11, a H-H mount and actuator, Oh and 4 way cable.

Most of the VBox installs I did were in the loft, running off the same supply as the TV aerial amplifier.

Works a treat, as long as the motor outside is also up to the job, (no Minijack/Superjack III s).
