The first question has got to be 'what is it that you intend to watch' ?
When you have a clear idea of this then we can start the ball rolling.

A 1mtr dish would be a good start, Gibertini or Triax.

Looks OK, the DG120 is a known motor and the 0.2 inverto is a good LNB.
Dont know the dish however but as long as its not warped when it arrives then should be fine.
Give us a shout on here when you're ready to do the install.

There are a few on Fleabay and the ones you are looking at seem to have pretty well most things.

Forum sponsor has a couple worth a look:-

You might want to check if bracket and bolts included - dont think they are in the first one but if you ask they might be available at a small additional cost ...

It's generally the motor and/or mount that suffer in really high winds. It would have to be exceptional to bend a small dish.

My mate wants a dark grey Gibi dish with this motorised system ..he doesnt have Internet at the mo so I've emailed supplier on his behalf and cant get any answer - dunno if it is language prob as my question was in English and dealer appears to be in Germany..

Does anyone know if the suffix #DG = dark grey/charcoal for the Gibi from this retailer please?

Thanks Wod - seems server was down in Germany - I'm about 200 miles north of Bristol so order now placed wih dvb. Their code #DG does mean dark grey.

So my mate and I will have identical systems when it comes and I get it set up - cant have him bragging he has a bigger/ better one than me...

den123 - cheapest option is to get a mate who has a meter to lend you a hand. But if you get an el cheapo meter it should be ok for initial setup - but take it out and use the readings from your receiver when you do the final tweaking as the meter chops signal down something terrible - go for max quality for best performance - it is all good fun - honest!
