Spring time tidy up and clean & maintain your dish

Spring time tidy up & clean & maintain your dish as it's been nice the last few days so today i started to lay the conduit for my new dish install in my garden as the new patio will be going down soon next job is the new pole or king post mount,

Any one else got any thing planned for their dish or going to give it a spring clean.

I was thinking about giving my salvaged 80cm mesh dish a new coat of paint, not sure on what colour I'll paint it though....

I think your car looks funny too......

My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 6 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/10E/13E/16E/ 19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S

Spring clean? Its still winter up here - its been snowing this afternoon!

My dishes will get their 6 monthly squirt of GT85 when we get a warm weekend, and I''ll be completely redoing the dish setup as all 4 of the of the euro dishes moved in the new year gales.

It's been pretty cold here today, but that's the advantage of having indoor dishes....

In the garden:
The 1m (16E) is on a sagging fencepost mount, propped up with a 4 foot length of wood.

The 80cm on 13E is the firmest (fenceposts too) but rotated forewards

The 80cm on 19E is on a tyre held in place with a bungee cord & 2 laths of wood

The 80cm on 5E is on a 7foot metal pole -- just banged a couple of feet into the ground with a sledgehammer.

My System: andrews dish - jaeger 1224 motor, vantage x221tsci, skystar 2, diablo v2.3, cyfra+

i've redone mine, gave it a new mount some solid t&k brackets as the l bracket bent

still in two minds whether to upgrade to triax polarmount, 12" actuator and vbox or upgrade dish to something decent like andrews or master focus gregorian

My System: 1.2M, & 55cm Gregorian Dish`s, 1.8m Precision dish Jaeger 1224 H-H motor.Dreambox 800, Vbox-II. SS2 Card.

Still got my channel master 1.8m to go up. I have been waiting for the weather to get better. I am going to take the polar mount and get it galved this week hopefully.

I might even give my 1.2m Gregorian a wash

I have also got a 90cm Gregorian to go up on the front of the house for my SS2 card. So have plenty to do lol.
