updating via sattelite

My System: 1.2 metre motorised
updating via sattelite

hi
i wondered if anyone knows how to update a "echostar ad-2000-ip receiver"??
and if this will update transponder lists? current update in box is es7p104a ..which was done on 8/2/2000..

I think they stopped the update via satellite some time ago.

You will have to download it from their website and use a null modem cable to do the update

My System: Triple Dragon with HDD/USB stick, Dreambox 8000, Humax HDCI2000, Echostar AD3000ip & SR8700, Aston Simba, RSD ODM300. Swedish Microwave 1.2 Motorised dish / Invacom C120 twin LNB driven by the AD3000. 3 other fixed dishes.

105c update is available for the AD2000 from www.echostareurope.com.

TP lists are included, but I should think they are out of date. You'll probably have to add current TPs yourself.

Olisun is correct - the Echostar sat receiver ota updates ceased about 2-3 years ago.

The only way now is to grab the software off the web.

ok nice one ..i am new to this multi sattelite system i just picked up the box and 1.2 metre dish last weekend and finally after 2 days of setting up i have got it all lined up but it seems there is a lot of dead transponders ..didnt make my life easy lining up the arc ..will the update delete my settings or can i upload them and then redownload to the box?

You can use the AD2000ip echoloader from their site.

Upload your receiver's settings using the echoloader to a file on your PC before updating, as you will lose your present settings.

Return them after the update.
