hi ive just found ive got a big loss in my cable run i see maplins sell ft100,but everyone seems to recomend ct100 does anyone know the difference thanks iwol | ||

My System: 90cm channel master, jaeger 1224 ,vantage x221tsci, skystar 2, diablo v2.3, setanta on 60cm minidish | how much cable run have you got as wf125 or ct125 is much better cable for long cable run if its below 30metre use some wf100 cable | ||

My System: channel master 1.2m dish technomate 6900,,and invacom 0.3 quad lnb satlook micro | its about 20-25metres i think but im losing about 30 percent from dish to receiver ive got a 1.2m cm so i pick most things up ok im just trying to squeeze the last drop out,what drop difference starts to make a difference especially on the low power sats | ||

My System: Skystarcard,Fortec's life time ultra's, MaxPlus 2100's,Dreambox and a Tandberg | If you can find short peices of cable see of you can find this. http://www.romal.com/html/coax/html/CATV%20satteliet/PRG%2011%20CU%20PVC.pdf Best coax there is we use only this and never problems and LOW LOSS | ||

My System: 90cm channel master, jaeger 1224 ,vantage x221tsci, skystar 2, diablo v2.3, setanta on 60cm minidish | ct100 or h109f what it is called now is rubbish well not rubbish just used on sky systems you want to change it to some proper good cable like wf100 or wf125 or even rg6 not the ally foil version the proper copper on copper stuff used satcure sells WF125 cable in 100m reel for 60 quid _http://www.satcure.co.uk/accs/page8.htm#WF125 rolfw and other members can advise more | ||

Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum. | For 20m you shouldn't really need anything bigger than WF100 or CT100. With the huge loss that you mention in the other thread, it is more likely to be a defective cable, or a bad meter reading. The difference in loss over 20m between WF100, made by Belden and the Belden G11 1.55mm core cable mentioned above, would only be a couple of DB at the highest frequency, and I doubt if your installation is that critical.
