LNB for Andrews 90cm

Can some experts please guide me into what is the best lnb for the Andrews channel master offset dish ?

This dish has three arms that come to a point which hold bracket to house the lnb. The dish came with a feedhorn but I am not sure what type of lnb is suitable and provides excellent signal.

I am sure there are experts that have experience of this set up..

My System: Dreambox 7020, CM 1.2 with invacom quad c120 & channelmaster feedhorn.

Why not use an Invacom C120 0.3db quad with your feed horn? Or the inverto white tech which isnt as good but still okay and much cheaper!

My System: Mostly gathering dust cos I'm a lazy git. Porty dish face blew off the mount, not too pleased...

I stuck an Inverto white tech on mine, I've yet to play with, I erm, mean test the dish & feedhorn but I think it'd be fine...

My System: TM-1500Ci+ Super - 1.5m Centre feed - 0.3dB Lnb

Inverto works well on my 1.5m, I reckon it lives upto its 0.3dB claim.

Being on the sickie and skint I got mine off an auction site, a seller offers them buy it now and also best offer. Mine cost just £15.00 delivered on a offer price...

It appears that the Invacom quad appears to be a possible solution.

Has someone had good experience with the C120 Invacom quad ?

I have tested invacom quad and inverto on my dish, and found the invacom could pull in a few off the Nilesat channels whereas the inverto had no mission. Suppose you get what you pay for....

So what are we talking of here in relative signal strengths on weak transponders between the two I wonder. ??

Can you dig your notes out please

Put me down for a couple of the gainier low noise ones when you have had a chance to sort through them.

Basiclly what i have found on the Nilesat Verticals is that the Invacom Quad can get a lock on them (about 30% quailty) but only from 2100-0600 hours. Probally because I am on the edge off the fringe! During the rest off the day, no quailty at all.

And the Inverto does not lock on at all. Even tryed it on a 2 meter primefocus I had for a while and still couldn't pull in Nilesat.
